De serie begint met Intel® ATOM™ processor 333 MHz compatibele modellen –X20CP1583 en X20CP3583. Meteen optimale prijs/prestatieverhouding, het heeft dezelfde basisfuncties als alle grotere CPU's.
Het basismodel omvat USB, Ethernet, POWERLINK V1/V2 en verwijderbare CompactFlash. De standaard Ethernet-interface is geschikt voor communicatie in het gigabit-bereik. Voor verbeterde realtime netwerkprestaties ondersteunt de ingebouwde POWERLINK-interface de poll response chaining-modus (PRC).Bovendien zijn er tot drie multifunctionele slots voor extra interfacemodules.
