1785-KA Profiel:
De 1785-KA PLC 5 Data Highway/Data Highway Plus-communicatieadaptermodule van Allen Bradley is een adaptermodule die PLC 5-controllers op het Data Highway Plus-netwerk verbindt met herverdelingspunten (knooppunten) op de Allen Bradley Data Highway. De 1785-KA is gemonteerd op een enkele sleuf van het 1771 I/O-chassis en vereist een backplane-stroom van 1,5 A bij 5 volt gelijkstroom van de door het chassis geleverde stroombron. Het wordt aangesloten op de Data Highway via de 15-pins mannelijke EIA D-shell connector-communicatiepoort aan de zijkant, en op de Data Highway Plus via het 3-schroefs aansluitblok met behulp van de Data Highway en Data Highway Plus-connectorkabels. Het kan ook worden aangesloten op de 1784-T50-terminal via de 9-pins mannelijke EIA D-shell-connector.
